Yury ?ornato a Mosca, va in biblioteca e vede Lara. Come ti sei trovato? E quella frase mi ?imasta in testa. Ho pensato a quanto fosse vera. When he learned that he got the part for Zivago, Hans decided to deepen his knowledge of Pasternak. "I went to find Pasternak's grandson, who lives in Oxford and she gave me some of the poems translated by Boris's sister. I could not believe my eyes and were the poems to inspire me. I have often had the palpable feeling that Boris Pasternak was right for us. And Giacomo thought it too! On a sunny day, we were shooting the scene where Yury and Lara meet for the first time after the war. Yury is adorned in Moscow, goes to the library and sees Lara. Then the two meet in the courtyard. In the book, the author describes in detail the blur of wind blowing between them, and a similar folace, between Keira and me. Giacomo and I watched and said, "Boris was us" and maybe there was really! " Andrew Davies has thoroughly explored the qualities of Yury Zivago. How did you prepare for the role? "I believe Yury's essence, the most humorous part of him, is that of a man who loves life. Whatever happens to him, including the most important events, inspires him a new understanding of life and love My job was to fully understand my emotional journey and I was able to do it because of my personal experiences. There have been moments in my life where I felt lost. If I look back, I understand why it happened. However, there are many people who, after suffering, become cynical as I think that the most characteristic feature of Yury is that it never falls into the trap of cynicism but keeps the heart open and this is wonderful. I believe in her end always honestly and always gets the best out of it all. For an actor, it's a great opportunity to figure out a character capable of such emotions and feelings. Hope that after seeing our movie, people want to read the book why? A fabulous novel that holds the passage of time very well. " Yury Zivago is a man who faces countless difficulties that have come divided between the love for two women. What feelings inspire you? "Yury has a deep moral dilemma because he is a married man with a son, but he leaves his wife for Lara's love, and I think we each have many things to learn from life and Yury has learned everything from meeting with Lara. The fate that made them meet because the two twin souls, maybe they had settled in another life, Yury left with Tonya, so she was her best friend, as well as lover and wife. It's as if they lived in a dream: they do not have the idea, but they want to stay together even if they can not do it and they hear the thing. Life has many things in store for people. There is nothing to do about it. " Do you believe in fate and twin souls? "We all have had a great love in life, and maybe we've lost it. Sometimes, when you lose a person you love, you think it's the blame for bad luck but I think it's all the fault of fate. Empre a little bit of pain. " You said to work on Zivago's fantastic set. Are there moments that you remember in a particular way? "One day during the shooting in Slovakia, the production plan suddenly changed and we had to shoot a scene I did not expect when there were Yury and Lara. Generally when you know you have to shoot a scene of That guy prepares you well, sometimes too much and perhaps looks less natural. For the first time, James made me hear the song of Yury and Lara, and I have to confess that during this scene I have something magical, which is difficult to explain to Words, it was incredible While I was falling into the character, I thought back when in my life I had to say goodbye to a person knowing that I would never have more. And as for enchantment, I managed to get rid of something I wanted Within me for years and that caused pain.In a sense, that scenes release because it helped me to deal with a past event I had not managed to overcome. " You lived in Prague for three months while shooting. How did you find it? "For the last five years, I spent 12 months in Prague and I had a lot of fun." The city changed a lot since the first time I went there, I think Prague has lived some kind of gold. All the marvelous artists who lived in what they thought to build an extraordinary place: the castle, the bridges, the stone walls, the wood, are things that no longer exist today. No money to build things of that kind. " Are you worried about the inevitable comparisons that will be made with Lean's film? "I do not see it as a race anyway, how many actors have played Amleto or Romeo? It does not seem to me that when an actor falls in the shoes of Hamlet, so many comparisons are made with his predecessors. Violinist because he is a passionate of old violinists of the 1920s and '30s. Once a violinist said that it was insulting the composer to assert that a piece of music could be played in one and the same way. Imagine in the head I thought about what was true Some say there are only 5 great stories and that's how to tell them to make them different.David Lean's movie premiered the first film adaptation of an epic novel accompanied by a very powerful soundtrack and I think it was a magical thing and kept it alive. However, I hope the audience before sharpening the blades and criticizing, look at our film with the right disposition. I'm not sure Omar Sharif and Keira are not Christie. I'm Hans Matheson who interprets Zivago and Keira Knightley plays Lara. From the time of Lean, cinema has made a lot of progress, and in this production there is a lot more to the film. The public then judges what we believe best. In any case, to conclude this interview, I only tell you that I, James and all those who participated in the film, did our best. " KEIRA KNIGHTLEY interprets Lara Guishar Keira, like Lara you're just 16 years old when you come across for the first time in Zivago. He is a very profound and emotionally rich character who grows during the film and is transformed by the teenager of the beginnings to the 27-year-old mother of the end. What have you tried? "Lara is a girl who is going to become a woman and therefore experiences very different and conflicting emotions. She is strong but at the same time she is a purely pure person, a fantastic character to be interpreted because many things in so many people to love and so many People to hate. It was a real challenge. " What attracted you most to this role? "It's just wonderful to be part of a project like this.I can easily identify me in Lara's character, especially for what's happening to her, Start when we see it for the first time. " The relationship between Lara and her mother Amalia is not simple but the situation gets worse when Komarovsky's attention moves from Amalia to Lara. "Komarovsky has enormous power, he has money, and he has no money, which makes him very attractive." Lara is fascinated by him and the thing that attracts him most is that he is obsessed with her. Apparent hate of the beginnings to a true fascination up to obsession. It's not a simple relationship but a relationship that has something terrifying in the manipulation. Lara says that Komarovsky "made me hate myself" that happily happens there. He lost his purity and his virgin - that at that time was something very important. In Lara's book, she says that she has "overcome a lady of the night" which means she has overcome the aversion and disgust. "But in Yury, Lara finds perfect love. "It's the ideal love, the love that each of us is looking for." Lara has literally found the man of his dreams. With him things are completely different from what happens to Pasha or Komarovsky. He can be put down and has a son and she has a husband and a daughter, and in reality they try to get the most out of a relationship that's bound to end. " Keira did not want to see any day of the scenes where he was there, but he saw some of Hans and Sam's. "Hanson was a source of inspiration for me, and I had some of his other films, and I've never met anyone who was so excited. I really was a little scared because I liked Damien's character of The Presage, but then I was a little scared because I really liked Yuri Zivago. I have overcome fear! It is a wonderful man. " Have you considered the inevitable comparisons that will be made with David Lean's film? "Reading the book we realize that it contains a lot of things and I think it would be a deadly sin not to bring on the screen such beauty. Lean's film dates back to 37 years ago and our movie can be the means to make it known The Dott Zivago To the next generation. It's an incredible story from which every one of us can pick up something. That's why I think this movie is very important. DANIELE LIOTTI interprets Misha Gordon Daniele Liotti was proud to have been chosen for the role of Misha, the only Italian actor in a totally international cast. His little role, most likely in the second part of the movie, but of great appeal. After leaving in England, he has brought him many positive criticisms. "My role was not reported in David Lean's novel's film, probably due to filmmaking time, but Campiotti decided to use it in the TV movie to highlight the value of friendship that my character "The advantage of this novel, which, for my character, unlike the others, can not therefore be compared to those of Lean's film." According to you why ampiot has reshaped Misha's character? As I used to stress the value of friendship. Misha is, in fact, a friend who supports Yury for the whole story, pointing out the most timely moments. Another positive character in his career after St. Anthony, etc.? Yeah, I prefer good roles. Misha has a character full of shades, a romantic one sacrificing in the name of the values she believes. His love story ever expressed with Tony, Yury's wife, only causes him pain and regret. But its ethics is the desire of you. Was the director following the classic novel system attributed to each character a value or a disagreement? It is possible that the system is classic and the character characters' choice by the director shows it. The actors are all very young, as in the original story. Tonija could represent faithful love, Yury and Lara passionate romance, Misha friendship, Komarovskij the bad. The director is a very modern doubt. Is there a character he particularly liked in the movie? Not only in the film, but in the novel, the highly epic character of Yury's character and Hans Matheson is extremely brilliant. Was it difficult to interpret this movie? Enough. First of all I was completely angry with English, and having come to the set among the last, I did not have time for proper preparation. Then we turned everything in Prague in winter and I terribly suffer the cold. But the welcome on the set and the respect and attentions of Campiotti made me feel at home. I'm basically an insecure, and I need some heat around me. Can you fall in love with one of the women in history? I would choose a mix of Lara and Tonya if possible; Together represent the feminine ideal. A scene that you particularly liked? I have not seen the movie yet. Among those I saw I would turn the scene where Komarovsky seduces Lara: it is very engaging. Of those I surely interpreted the moment I have to reveal to Yury, looking into his eyes, which is about to die.
